2010... Bring It On!

I know I am almost a month late on this, but I'd like to share the top 10 things I have to look forward to in 2010! (Somewhat in chronological order)
  1. The place that I have been working for the past 9 years is getting a huge makeover and will be unveiled in the Spring!
  2. My oldest nephew (and my godson), Robby, is making his first communion in April... Wow, how time flies!
  3. Housesitting and dogsitting again for my sister the first week in May... It's always a good time when I can relax with one of my favorite dogs (KIMAN!!)... And plus I love feeling like I have my own place, even though it's really not!
  4. Also in May, both Bryan and I will be turning a quarter of a century old (me, May 11th and him, May 30th)... And my godson, Jayden will be celebrating his very 1st birthday on May 31st! Happy Birthday to all of us!
  5. On June 17th, my sister and brother-in-law will be celebrating 10 years of marriage... Congrats guys!
  6. On June 19th, I will be by one of my best friend's side as she gets married! Love you Sarah and Adam... And Jayden too!
  7. My only cousin (and the best cousin in the world) is getting married in August... Best wishes Siggy and Missy!
  8. My parents will be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary on September 12th... Love you both!
  9. I will be by another good friend's side as she marries a person just as great as she is on October 16th... Shawnna and Will, you guys deserve the best!
  10. Finally, this summer, I will be going to my first Yankees game ever... And I am especially happy to be going with a very special someone!
YAY to 2010!

Happy Thanksgiving!

You Are Generous and Optimistic

You love the warm fuzzy feelings that go with the holidays. You crave comfort, especially during this time of year.

You know how to be there for people. You are generous with your time, and you can always spare a couple hours for someone.

You truly appreciate the people you love, and the best moments of your life are when you're sharing something special with them.

You would never keep a whole pie to your self. You'd keep only a sliver and share the rest. You like to spread the love around.

little -> BIG Annoyances!

Let's start with the first story...

Parking attendants are stupid! Recently, Carol and I went to a car show... Not only did it take us a few trips up and down the Blvd to find the handicapped parking because it was sorta poorly labeled, but then when we finally get in there, the parking attendant was a dumbass! I tell him that I can't park too close to another car because I need enough room to get the wheelchair out and he tells me to go down to the road, get the wheelchair out there and then come back and park the car. That would just be all fine and dandy except for the fact that me, the driver of the car, is the one who needs the wheelchair. I tried to explain that to him and he looks at us all puzzled and says, "Well, can't your friend drive your car back up here." I lied and said no that she wouldn't be able to drive my car because of the modified hand controls... I didn't want to have to go through all that when there was a very, VERY simple solution... Park on the other side of the few vehicles that were already lined up! I'm sorry... You are working as the parking attendant in the handicapped parking lot... It can't be the first time you heard this situation before, or atleast if you haven't, develop some better problem solving skills!!!!

Next up... I hate how the most random things can make you think of one of the people you dislike most. For instance, I can't stand seeing Subarus anymore... It doesn't matter the year or color (but white is the worst!). I used to enjoy speaking what little french I can remember from my 5 years of it in school and now this person is all I think about when I hear spanish or french being spoken... I hear him making his stupid little jokes or comments! This is driving me nuts!!

And finally... MEN! Not all men... Just the ones that want to be just friends but will ONLY call/text you between the hours of 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. just to see what you are up to or to find out if you went out that night. And if you think that is bad, how about also adding the fact that as soon as they get a new girlfriend, you never hear from them agian until that relationship goes down the crapper. They won't even respond if you just text them to get back in touch and see how they are doing or what they are up to. I think by the time you are 28 years old, you should be mature enough to have a "girlfriend" and "girl friends"!! Am I right?!?!

Thankfully, I have a busy weekend full of fun plans... It will help me get my mind off the second 2 annoyances!

Alright, that is all the complaining I have in me for you guys to read tonight! Check in again soon though... There is sure to be more rants to come! Enjoy the weekend :)

Is it Friday yet?

I'm not used to working Monday and Tuesday but I did this week and it seems like Friday is taking forever to get here. It is nice because I got to catch up on some work that I got a little behind on since I was out sick a couple days last week.. Also needless to mention, more $$!!!!

I am so excited for this weekend tho which makes the waiting for Friday so hard! Memorial Day Weekend is always so exciting to me... I consider it to be the start of summer! This is usually the first weekend where we spend the whole weekend out at camp, BBQing and having HUGE bonfires every night! This year, like last year, I will be spending Saturday afternoon at my friend's mom's party and then head out to my camp that night. We don't have an actual camp on the property at this point because we are rebuilding, but it is on the lake and it is just my favorite place in the world! It is a relaxing spot, a party spot and just a chill spot... I couldn't ask for more! (Well, maybe a toilet.. Haha!) I always take tons of pictures too to help me remember the weekend.. Sometimes it gets a little hazy! Anyways, check back next week for a few of the fun pics!

For now, I am going to be... That way, tomorrow comes all that sooner and so does Friday! Atleast that is what my parents used to tell me about Christmas!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone.. Enjoy, be safe and remember all the men and women who risked and gave their lives for our country.
