hi everyone! i have been having a lot of problems with my internet service- i have been offline all weekend and can i just tell you that i am lost w/o the internet. i know that's pretty bad, but oh well. anyways, i just got it back up and running tonight.
so that is how my weekend started and then on friday i went to the internet for that intership that i have been talking about. the interview went really well- he showed me some of the projects that he would have me doing and they seemed very interesting and i believe that i would learn a lot, but i had to be honest with the guy that i didn't think i would have time to do it this semester. although he is going to try and find another student for this semester he said that i should get back in touch with him at the end of the semester and that he may consider another internship during the summer or in the fall. so anyways, i just emailed him and thanked him for the opportunity.
that was friday and then on saturday i went to work at 11:00 in the morning and i was feeling fine but then at about 1:00 i started feeling sick. i suffered through about another hour and a half and finally went downstairs and asked if i could go home. of course they let me go home but before they did, one of my coworkers asked me what was wrong. i told her that i had a really bad headache (which was basically caused by this person) and that although i was freezing, my forehead was burning up. so then this person said "oh i just wanted to make sure it is nothing that we could catch." i just wanted to scream at that point. doesn't anyone have any consideration?!!! i know if it was someone else who was sick i would just say "i'm sorry and i hope you feel better." anyways i came home and just rested for a little while and then i was fine.
when i was home resting on saturday night i watched THE FAMILY STONE. that was a pretty good movie. it is full of great actors including DIANE KEATON, RACHEL McADAMS, LUKE WILSON, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, CLAIRE DANES and DERMOT MULRONEY. it was very funny at some points and very sad at others. it was kind of weird but i would definitely recommend it.
then last night i went to see CATCH AND RELEASE in the theater. that was also a great movie- it was not what i though it would be but it was very good.
there was someone in this movie that i thought was butt ugly at first but as the movie went on he became cuter and cuter cause his character became sweeter and sweeter. the actor who plays the part i am talking about is TIMOTHY OLYPHANT. i'll let you check him out.
tomorrow night i hope to go see THE HITCHER with SOPHIA BUSH. she is such a great actress. she plays on one of my favorite shows- ONE TREE HILL. i'll let you know how it is. i still have yet to see ALPHA DOG. i have been wanting to see it for a while now, but haven't gotten the chance. i have heard it was good though. that just might be one that i don't see until it comes out on dvd- we'll see!
anyways, gotta be getting to bed. 6 am wake up call tomorrow! yay!! :P talk to you all later!
