I love to hang out with my friends and my family- making lots of memories that will last a lifetime.. this is my #1!! I love spending time at camp- BBQs, boat rides, bonfires, etc. Love going to the movies or relaxing at home with a DVD, curling up at night and reading, rocking out in my car to my favorite music! so i am not having a very fun weekend. i have to have a first draft of my honor's project to my professor by monday so have been working very diligently on that. i had to input a bunch of data into the computer and i still have not figured out how to run the darn stuff. that will be my next step as well as trying to write something up to email to my professor by monday. anybody else ready for it to be summer cause i definitely am!!!  i knew i wouldn't get a chance to do much else this weekend so i went to see SHOOTER on thursday after i gout of work. i really shouldn't have cause i was up till 1:00 am the night before and i had to get up at 6:00 am that morning, so i was running on very little sleep (i did almost fall asleep in the theater :-/) anyways i went to the movie and it was pretty good. i didn't think it was a great movie, but it kept my interest. of course MARK WAHLBERG was gorgeous as usual. one thing that really annoyed me in the movie was that DANNY GLOVER had something in his mouth the whole time and gave him a lisp. i have no idea what that was all about. ok, so i got my comment back up and working now too. hope you leave some!!! :) another little annoyance- one of my favorite shows, ONE TREE HILL, was supposed to come back this past wednesday and it didn't. i found out from a friend of mine that now they are planning on putting it back on the air in may. MAY?!!! how can you go from saying it would be back on march 28th to saying it won't be back on till may 2nd. maybe it is an omen telling me to focus on my school work. it is very possible, because i am just to the point where i am just so sick of school that i am not very motivated to get things done. i hate not being motivated. it is such a draining feeling and you just always feel blah. i better go to bed cause i have a long day, fun-filled day in head of me tomorrow- YEAH RIGHT!!! it will def be long, but fun-filled? i don't think so! ok i guess i have complained enough for one post- sorry readers :(

i just thought i would spice things up a bit. i just fell in love with this layout when i found it, but let me tell you, it was quite a bit of work to make it look the way i wanted, with the alignment and positioning of different things, the headings, the links on the sidebar, etc. i am happy with it now though, but i might still add some more links on the side about the music that i am currently listen to and books i am reading. hope you all like :)

 i went to see the new ADAM SANDLER movie, REIGN OVER ME, last night. it was not what i was expecting. considering the plot of the movie (ADAM SANDLER's character's family- wife and three daughters- died on one of the planes that crashed into the world trade center on 9/11), i thought it was gonna be a really solemn movie, but it wasn't. it was actually really funny. yeah the main plot was sad but mostly everything else was hilarious. ADAM SANDLER came out with some great lines in this movie just like all of his other movies. it is so sad how one crazy event can cause so much pain and suffering for so many people- an entire country even. i couldn't imagine if i had lost someone i care about in that way. ADAM SANDLER's character just became completely disconnected from the world, especially from the people who knew his wife and daughters. that is why he became such good friends with his old college roommate ( DON CHEADLE's character)- he never knew his friends family. finally, i haven't decided if i liked the ending of the movie yet. in some ways i did like it, but i had a picture in my head of how it was "supposed" to end and it didn't end the way i pictured. overall, i would give it 3 out of 5 stars and i would have to say that it is more of a rental-type movie rather than going to see it in the theaters.

 last night i watched THE LOST BOYS. i was pretty iffy about it at first cause it was about vampires but I LOVED IT!!! i stayed home last night and watched the special edition. this movie had a perfect combination of horror and comedy. most people wouldn't think that these two genres go together, but they go together perfectly in this movie. i probably wouldn't have even liked it if the comical aspect was not there. my favorite was the best! of course i am talking about COREY HAIM! he was so funny in this movie. i think this has been my favorite movie i have seen him in. the "frog brothers" were awesome too. basically the funniest line came from the mouths of "the haimster", "feldog", the other frog brother, jamison nelander and the grandpa. here are some of my favorite lines from the movie: - Sam Emerson: There's no TV! Have you seen a TV, Mike? I haven't seen a TV. Do you know what it means when there's no TV? - No MTV!
- Grandpa: Hey, anything around here that might pass for aftershave?
Sam Emerson: How about some Windex, Grandpa?

you might need to see the movie to get the full effect of some of these lines, but most of them are hilarious just reading :) by the way, cc- keep up with the good suggestions! i have fallen in love with every single movie that you have suggested to me :) i have to ask my sisters if they have seen it and i will have to make them watch it. lol this will be a movie that i will be purchasing soon as well! the special edition version!!! the weirest thing about the whole movie was that in the "vampire hotel" there was a huge poster of jim morrison and he looked exactly like michael, the main character, in it. i have seen that same poster of jim morrison before so i sat there thinking "is that jim morrison playing michael?" even though i was almost positive it wasn't. it was crazy! in the special features they talked about that a little bit and they thought that was really cool too. well, i will be leaving to go to the movies soon. we're gonna see REIGN OVER ME. i'll let you all know how it is :) lastly, i will leave you with the official trailer for the lost boys. i love it cause it has two of my favorite corey haim lines in it :) enjoy and have a good rest of the weekend!!!

this is just gonna be a great day- yeah right! i just got home from the dentist's office and now the whole right side of my mouth is numb. i feel like i am really puffy and that i am talking really weird but i guess i'm not. they had to do some deep cleaning around two of my back bottom teeth. anyways, i went in there and my dentist asked me if i was nervous and i just said to him that i wasn't until i saw the huge friggen needle that was going to be going into my gums. i feel like i keep biting my tongue all the time too. ahhh!!! i hope this numbness goes away soon, but you know what? then comes the aches and pains! it is a lose lose situation!! so that it my first bad thing about my wednesday. next up- school!!! after i post this, i will be working on school work till i have to go to work at 5:00. it is 11:30 now so that means that i will be doing non stop school work for about 5 hours. how much fun does that sound?!!! oh, yeah and did i mention that i pullled a 12 hour day at school yesterday? i am so schooled out at this point!!! i just want to be done with it. i guess the one good thing that is happening today is that SU is playing tonight. 7:00 and of course i won't be able to watch it cause i will be at work. as long as they win, i will be happy :) ok, enough chatting- gotta get to work! yay!!!

i'm gonna make this quick cause i really have to go to bed if i plan to be at all for class tomorrow.
 well, SU beat San Diego State 80-64 tonight in front of a record breaking crowd for a NIT game. i was pretty bummed out that i was unable to watch the game since i was at work, i bought a devendorf jersey yesterday so i could wear it tonight at work. maybe i wasn't able to watch the game listen to it, but i could still support the team. and DEVENDORF IS THE MAN this year! [he got a technical against him for trash talking tonight- hehe!! lol- he is just so much fun to watch out there on the court :)]
my friend sarah actually went to the game tonight and was texting me throughout the game to keep me updated about how the game was going. i was so excited to hear that they were advancing to the quarterfinals of the NIT. i really hope that they win the NIT championship to prove that they should have been in the NCAA tournament. i think just about everyone in the cuse would agree with me when i say that SU got screwed in not getting picked to be in the NCAA tournament.
so as you can probably tell by now- yankees baseball is not the only sport that i am a fanatic about- i am a huge su basketball fan too! alright nighty-night time for me! lol

 this was in our local newspaper at the beginning of the month and i recently found it on the internet. for those who don't know, that is #13 for the NEW YORK YANKEES- MR. ALEX RODRIGUEZ- and his adorable 2 year old daughter, natasha. he was giving her a little kiss when she came to watch her daddy during batting practice. how cute!!!
another little thing about the yankees- they are 10 and 4. i know spring training, but maybe this shows how well they will do during the regular season. lets all hope so!!! GO YANKS!!!!!!!!
just so you all know- as the title of my blog suggests, i am a HUGE YANKEES FAN and since the season will be starting soon, i will be talking a lot more about the games, the players and the yankees in general. my anticipation has already started as you can probably tell :)

i am at school right now and i have to go to work pretty soon, so i will make this kinda quick. what is my new obsession you ask: COREY HAIM!!! i  know it is pretty corny, but look at that smile- he is just too adorable that you can't help but love him! i recently watched LICENSE TO DRIVE and DREAM A LITTLE DREAM. i have seen these movies before but a looooooong looooooong time ago. but anyways, now i just want to watch everything that he has been in- everything i haven't seen i want to see and everything i have already seen i want to see again :). a coworker is going to give me THE LOST BOYS to watch (since i've never seen it) tonight and i am trying to get everything else through either netflix, the library or blockbuster or something. i gotta lot of work to do!!! here are a bunch of movies he has been in that look pretty good- i watched a bunch of the trailers on youtube last night ;-) lol ok i guess that is enough for now. i'll update you guys on how i am coming along on finding (and watching) these movies!!! # random thougths @

you guys are gonna be so sick of me talking about justing, but i had to add a couple pic on here. a friend of mine just went to a justin concert a few weeks back and she sent me some of the pics. she must of had some great seats cause these are awesome pics! ENJOY!!! MY FAVORITE!!!  I ALSO LOVE THIS ONE OF HIM SHAKIN HIS BOOTY :)  SOMEONE SAID TO ME THAT HE IS SAD IN THIS PIC CAUSE HE REALIZED I WASN'T THERE- LOL  I JUST LOVE WHAT HE IS WEARING IN THIS ONE :)  HE EVEN LOOKS GOOD IN JUST A WHITE T  my friend who went to the concert said that this was easily the best show she's ever been to. i so wish i went!!! especially taking into consideration how obsessed i am with him at the moment lol!!! today has been CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first of all i woke up at 6 to get back in the swing of things after spring break last week and the first thing that popped into my head was "what is the weather like outside? so i looked at the roads and they were bare. so of course i went and took my shower and got ready. then i hear on the news that we have a travel advisory. not only that- the high was going to be 8 degrees. EIGHT DEGREES!!!! that is fricken cold. at that point after i was all ready, i started to debate whether to actually go to school or not. finally i ended up going and it was a little slick out there in some places but things were ok if you just took it easy. so that is what i did! so i get to school and for once they actually did pretty good at plowing out the parking lots there. the snow that was left in the lots was some of that really hard snow so i could just wheel right along on top of it. my first two classes are back to back beginning at 8:30 in the morning then i have an hour and a half break which even though i actually got some work done was very hard to get through. about an hour into the break i just all of a sudden looked up at the computer that i was sitting at and just stared and it became a little bit blurry cause i was so exhausted. i get to my last class and i received some bad news- i am informed that i have to do a presentation to i guess a pretty large group of people (for an honor's project that i am doing) on top of another one that i would be presenting the same material to two of my professors. when i decided to do this project, i was only told about the one presentation that i would have to gove to my two professors. i am totally freaking out about this other one now. the big presentation will be on a saturday in april, and since i work every saturday, i even have to take a day off of work to do this. that just put me in a bad mood at the end of my school day. but..... i was cheered up when i got home- i found out that the guy that i like (we'll just call him P for now!) was coming over to my house. YIPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!! as far as i know P doesn't know that i like him but there is a good possibility that he does know cause P is a friend of my dad and my brother and i think my mom has told my dad who could have very well told P that i like him. i can go into this whole big long story, but i won't get into that right now. one thing that i do want to share about P though is that he is absolutely adoreable when he is with my nieces and nephews. he is always helping them out and playing with them. it is just so cute. my oldest nephew loves him. they are buddies!!! one very cute memory that i have of P and my oldest niece is when they were dancing together to some music that we could hear at the state fair and they were also playing hopscotch. all of the kids are just so comfortable around him- they are just as comfortable around him as they are around the family. i love it!!! ok so anyways, lets get back on track- so P comes over and he, my dad and my brother are sitting there talking and my dad pulls out a snowmobile catalogue and points out this really nice snowmobile with a heated seat and P says that my dad should buy that one for me and my mom. P is just funny like that- coming out with these wacky comments. anyways i just laughed a little and went back to what i was doing. the next thing you know i get a call from a friend at work asking if i would be able to come in tonight. i was like doesn't it figure- i haven't seen P in the longest time and when i finally do i get called into work. i didn't mind too much cause i love the people that i would be working with but still, you know what i mean. so i go to work and have a fun time- i now realize that i was extremely talkative all night long. kinda like right now!!! i get home and there is no one home. a few minutes after i get in my house the phone rings. i didn't recognize the number, and usually when i don't recognize a number i just don't answer it cause i figure if it is important they will leave a message, but for some strange reason i answered it. of course it was none other than P! my brother picked him up and brought him over to the house earlier so my parents were taking him home and one of them must have asked P to call (since my dad forgot his phone) and make sure that i was able to get in the garage all right (cause the door was sticking or something i guess). i was like yup i got in fine. i hope i am not the one who feels like this about someone, but just hearing his voice on the phone made me smile :) well, that phone call was a happy ending to an overall really crazy day. i went from exhausted to bored back to exhausted to frantic back to exhausted to excited to happy to annoyed to extremely talkative back to exhausted and back to HAPPY :) ok and so here's another great ending to my day- 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS is on tv with my beautiful boyfriend PAUL WALKER!!!! one last thing worth mentioning is that i am also really excited about
MARCH MADNESS starting TOMORROW!!!
