so i'm back from this very long hiatus. it's not that i went anywhere but since it is summer and mostly beautiful weather, i have been out and about doing stuff. nothing big just different things here and there like continuing to go to the movies and spending a lot of time with my friends and family (including all the little nieces and nephews who are getting bigger and bigger everyday!) out at camp. i've also been working A LOT at the library!!! i worked everyday the week before last and i worked every day but tuesday last week.
some of the movies that i've gone to see since my last post are LICENSE TO WED, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, HAIRSPRAY, and NO RESERVATIONS. oh, yeah and did i mention that i have seen
TRANSFORMERS three more times since my last post and i think i will be going again tonight. i just love that movie. the last time my friend sarah and i went to see it she said to me "i can't believe that we are not sick of this movie" i was like "NEVER!!!" but tonight we have a purpose in seeing it. i recently realized that on imdb, there is a "goofs" page for every movie. it is just what it sounds like- mistakes that have been made in the making and/or editting of movies. sarah found one mistake before even looking at the goofs page for transformers- in one scene,
SHIA LABEOUF is holding his sweatshirt in his hand and then he is wearing it and then not wearing it and then wearing it again. that was a pretty obvious editting error but it's funny. and then there is another point in the movie where you hear SHIA say something but you see him mouthing something totally different. here's the link if you want to check out all the
TRANSFORMERS GOOFS.
ok, on the other movies i saw- i give
LICENSE TO WED two thumbs down- it sounded cute but it was so dumb;
I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY two thumbs way up (go see this movie- it is a riot!!!!),
HAIRSPRAY was good, not great but good- it was cute; and
NO RESERVATIONS was a really good movie- very sweet!
something that random that i want to let people know about if you already haven't heard of it is
PETFINDER.COM. this is a website where you can find animals all over the U.S. that need to be adopted and brought into a good home. you can search the area around where you live, what kind of animal you want (dog, cat, horse, etc.), breed of the animal, and age, size, sex of the animal. i was looking at some dogs this morning even though i already have a family dog and i wouldn't be able to get a dog of my own until i get my own place. anyways, there are so many adorable animals in shelters that need a family to love and to love them back. right now i can't help any of these pets but if you are looking for an pet, take a look around this website- there are so many loving animals.
next up,
THE TWO COREYS premiered sunday night on A&E. it is insane. it is the new reality show
starring the 80's heartthrobs COREY HAIM and COREY FELDMAN (and feldman's wife, susie). the concept is that haim moves in with the feldmans and the chaos goes on from there. the new show comes out during the 20th anniversary of the movie that started the phenomenon of the two coreys:
THE LOST BOYS. and did you hear that warner brothers is making a sequel now after 20 years and neither of the coreys are gonna star or even appear in it. how horrible is that?!!! here is a clip from the show that relates to this- kinda sad :(
this is a pretty sad scene from the show but it is also funny at times- it has to be with corey haim :) if you want to see more of the show just type in "the two coreys" on youtube and watch THE TWO COREYS on A&E sunday nights at 10:00 and 10:30. enjoy! i know i will :)
i guess that is all for now folks. thanks for reading, thanks for caring!!
