To start off, just want to say I'm sorry I haven't posted in I don't know how long... I just know that it's been a long time! A little too long... Ok so definitely too long!!

Lets start this post with what has been going on in my life for the past few months!

On Work: New boss = FRUSTRATION! I had the same boss since I was 15 and loved her! She was definitely one of a kind! Expecting that our Assistant would take over the position, eased our mind.. especially mine because we have a great working relationship and she is just an awesome person! But unfortunately, things didn't happen that way :( Not everything has been bad, but there have def been more frustrations in the past 2 months than there have been in the past 2 years. Anyways, I will leave it at that! On a brighter note, I have been asked by a friend of a friend to make a website for their business. I am very excited about this opportunity! It will be my first paying gig when it comes to my web design stuff. Please cross your fingers for me in pretty much every area of work!

On Love/Relationships: Another frustration! To keep it short, I will use short sentences and not a lot of descriptions! And just so you know, this has all happened during the course of a year. Here it goes! Girl meets boy. They hang out a lot with mutual friends. Girl likes boy. Girl finds out that boy likes mutual friend... CHAOS!... Doesn't work out. Girl and boy still hang out. Girl finally tells boy of her feelings for him. Things happen between girl and boy. Boy says he is not ready for a relationship. They stay friends. Girl goes to friends for advice. Friends kindly say, "Don't waste your time." Boy and girl continue to hang out together. Things happen again. Girl decides not to tell boy again of how she feels because he already knows. Still nothing from boy. Girl and boy still hang out together. Things happen one more time. And again still nothing from boy. Girl is annoyed. Girl talks to friends again. Friends say the same thing. Boy begins texting girl late at night on weekends. Girl begins texting boy late at night on weekends. Girl finds out that boy has a girlfriend the weekend after a weekend of late-night texting. Girl gets the dish from her best friend/his sister. Boy has been dating new girl for a week. Boy is the "happiest guy in the world." Girl is bummed. Girl goes to see He's Just Not That Into You with her girlfriends! Ok, even with the short sentences, it's not that short of a story! LOL :)

On Entertainment: Next up, lets do a few movie reviews.....

He's Just Not That Into You
Loved it! LOVED it! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! And yes I did read the book first! The book was great as well, but the movie was hysterical!! I felt that the characters were very real and I could def relate to one in particular. This movie helped me to shed light on the situation I just explained above that I have kept myself in for over a year now (instead of taking my sisters' and friends' advice). Not only did it shed light on my situation but it also made me laugh at it. For example, my new quote (taken from the movie obviously) is "Welcome to my world, asshole!" Not only does this apply PERFECTLY to my current scenario, it can be applied to so many life experiences! (It's like a Joker quote!!.. LOL ) And the message that I got from the movie that really inspired me is the idea that we are all THE RULE until we become THE EXCEPTION!

My Best Friends Girl
I love Dane Cook and Jason Biggs is just a riot! Very cute and funny movie. Nothing spectacular but very fun to watch.

Eagle Eye
This was a good movie. Had a great cast.. Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Ethan Emby, and Rosario Dawson. The one thing about this movie I didn't really like was the fact that it really reminded me of I, Robot. For any of you who have seen both, I'm sure you know what I am referring to. It put a different twist on the I, Robot story, so it was a different story line but they had very similar endings. And can I tell you how happy I was that the two main characters didn't all of a sudden have a love connection! I am getting sick of movie makers developing a love connection between characters just because they had to go through a tough time together. It really is NOT necessary!

Seven Pounds
This was an amazing movie! Very confusing for a long time but amazing to say the least when it all comes together. Will Smith... my favorite actor and he was great in this movie. He fully went into character... He was not what people expect him to be.. a joker like in Fresh Prince or Independence Day or Hitch. He was actually very solemn in this movie. He does drama just as well as he does comedy! And also two thumbs up for Rosario Dawson in this one too. She did a great job with her character. The two of them together were awesome in this movie!
