well, cny once again got a nasty snow storm. i was so holding on to hope that all the meteorologists were wrong, but my dream didn't come true :( my dad got a call at exactly 5:58 this morning from one of his plowing customers asking if he could come and plow him out. it's past the midpoint of april- it is about time for the sunny weather to arrive!!!

a couple good things came out of this massive snow storm though- college was closed and work was closed :) this allowed me to spend the whole day on getting my resume and cover letter together and apply for summer internships. i sent my stuff to a couple different companies. i am also looking into applying to two other businesses, including our local zoo. i was so excited to hear that the zoo had a marketing internship available, marketing is what i am going to school for and that fact that i absolutely love animals. i just think that a zoo would be an awesome place spend a summer. it does seem like it would be more work with the zoo internship but i think i am up to the task :)

on a sad note, i just wanted to say that my heart goes out to all the students and the family and friends of the students at virginia tech. it is horrible that someone can become so outraged that they would do something like this. with this, i want to leave you with nickelback's lyrics for their song, if everyone cared:
