Hello! My name is Sparkles. I am a HUGE NY Yankees fan!!! I have learned that life is short so make the most out of the time you have! So what can you find me doing most of the time.. I love to hang out with my friends and my family- making lots of memories that will last a lifetime.. this is my #1!! I love spending time at camp- BBQs, boat rides, bonfires, etc. Love going to the movies or relaxing at home with a DVD, curling up at night and reading, rocking out in my car to my favorite music! i have come across a lot of fun things in the past couple days and i think they are worth sharing. hope you enjoy these funnies :-) ... - the first is a website that a friend told me about. it is a site where you can type in a word and the site will develop a slogan with that word. it is fun to either type in funny words or to sloganize your own name. here is the site if you want to have some fun for yourself- www.thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan. there are some sites like this such as sloganizer.net. here is my favorite one that came up when putting in my own name:

- i also read a really simple but funny joke yesterday on e-laughs that i thought i would share (e-laughs has some really great jokes and some other fun stuff too- check it out!)
Two blond men were sitting outside a medical clinic. One of them was crying, tears pouring down his face. The other blond man asked, "Why are you crying?" The first one replied, "I came here for a blood test." The second one asked, "So? What are you crying for? Are you afraid?" The first guy replied, "No. Not that. During the blood test they cut off my finger." Upon hearing this, the second man began to cry. The first man was astonished and asked the other, "Why are you crying?" The second man replied, "I came here for a urine test." - here is a really cute and funny dog video that i found on e-laughs. let's just say that this is a really smart dog :)
- since i am talking about funny dogs, i should also post one of my favorite dog videos- TALKING DOGS! i don't think i have posted this before but even if i have it is worth another look :)
here a few movie updates too! - WATCHERS- i can cross another 80s movie off my must-see list! although very unrealistic, especially the moster, who can refuse a movie with a young COREY HAIM and an adorable golden retriever?!?!
- LUCAS- again another young COREY HAIM movie and he does some of his best acting in this movie. i have seen this movie before but because it has been so long, i forgot how much i loved it and how cute this movie actually is.
- FREE WILLY- i have seen this movie so many times from when i was younger and i watched part of it yesterday and now that i have, i just really want to take a trip to the ocean and go whale watching. when my family and i went whale watching a couple years ago was pretty much the most fun i have ever had on a trip. they are such beautiful animals! i would love to go to marineland or sea world, so i could pet some sea animals, but seeing them in a tank at one of these places and seeing them free out in the ocean are two completely different things and experiences. it is so amazing seeing them out there in the ocean
also, here are a few movies that are in the theater or are coming to the theater soon that i am really looking forward to seeing: - DISTURBIA- really really looking forward to seeing this movie (possibly tonight!!!)- i love the tagline too- "every killer lives next door to someone."
  finally, as you can see i have a new book that i am gonna start reading tomorrow- EVER AFTER by KAREN KINGSBURY. this book is the first book in a series called the LOST LOVE SERIES she writes incredible christian fiction novels. i have only read two of her books ( DIVINE and GIDEON'S GIFT) before but they were both amazing, especially GIDEON'S GIFT. it was a christmas miracle kind of book and it just made me feel good inside. although i have read many great books, GIDEON'S GIFT has been the only one to give me that feeling of warmth inside. i don't know how to explain it but i would recommend that book to anyone and everyone. this book is also part of a collection of books called the RED GLOVE COLLECTION. well, i guess if i am gonna start a new book that means that i finished the one i was reading- AT FIRST SIGHT by NICHOLAS SPARKS. i finished it today and man was it a tear-jerker. it was a great story. it is the sequel to SPARKS' book TRUE BELIEVER. i wasn't that impressed by TRUE BELIEVER but AT FIRST SIGHT was great! i was a little disappointed with part of the ending, but you soon realize that if things hadn't turned out the way they did in the book then the entire book would not have had as much of an impact on you. and of course like all of SPARKS' books, SPARKS leaves you with a final sentence that makes you start crying. i would also recommend this book to anyone. i guess that is it!
