i had so much fun on my bday!!! it was crazy but fun! like i said in my previous post, i went to tully's with my buddies from work and a couple other friends. we had such a great time. it was so funny cause when my friend adam got there and after we ordered, adam asked me did you even tell them that it is your bday? at first i thought he was talking about my friends from work and i was like what and then i realized that he meant the waiter. i was like NO and they don't need to know! i knew at that point that either way the people at tully's were gonna sing to me. can i tell you that i hate being the center of attention- i don't even like being sang to when i celebrate my bday with my family, let alone by a huge group of people at an extremely packed restaurant. so anyways, i don't really know how the waiter found out (it was kinda obvious that it was my bday), but i came out of the bathroom a little later and about a minute after that the entire staff came out singing their happy bday song. it was embarrassing but it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. adam swears he didn't say anything and that when i went to the bathroom, the waiter came out and asked where i went and that they were all ready to come out and sing to me. i guess the only thing that adam did say was that i would be back in a couple minutes. not sure if i believe it yet. so that was the happy bday story.
a couple other weird things that happened that night were i met a really drunk guy that would not leave me alone and a completely random guy came up behind me at the bar, kissed me on the cheek, said i love you and took off. i didn't see this guy before he did it and i didn't see him for the rest of the night. adam and my friend sarah and i just looked at each other, but then sarah said "don't worry about it- he was cute!" i had a couple drinks there but that was enough for me anyways.
so that was friday night and let's just say that saturday was the longest day at the library there ever was. not only did i not get home until 2:30 that morning, but a girl that i work with didn't get home until about 4:30 that morning cause it was her ball on friday. so lets just say we were not a very lively crowd. the thing is i felt very awake from my time i showered and the time i drove to work, but then i was just exhausted the rest of the day. after i got out of work i just went home and watched my bday present from sarah- A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS. its got two of our boyfriends in it- CHANNING TATUM and SHIA LABEOUF. it was a very strange movie. i guess that is all i have to say about it right now. actually scratch that- i also got to say that our boyfriends looked really good even though they looked like bums throughout the whole movie. ok, now that's all i have to say about it.
then yesterday we went over to my sister's house to celebrate mother's day and my bday. again it is so much fun hanging out with all the kids. my littlest nephew, jared, locked my dad out on the porch right when we were getting to sing happy bday. it was hilarious!!! also while we were watching the race on tv, my oldest nephew, robby, who is almost 5 years old, came out and said, "we have digital cable tv" i'm like where does he come up with this stuff. and then he was telling me and my brother that he liked the "#48 car cause it is faster than the rest and it is
way ahead of all the rest" and guess what- yup the #48 car was in first place. the kid is not even 5 years old. how does he pick up on all this stuff? i gotta admit though, they are all very very entertaining though :) we also watched NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM while we were at kim's house. it was a cute movie. the best part is the statue thing that kept saying "i want some gum gum, dum dum. you better run run, dum dum." hehe! i also loved how the dinosaur loved playing fetch and acted like a dog. that was about it! molly and i felt much better tonight at work than we did on saturday, but now it is getting late and i'm getting tired again, so good night and hope everyone has a great day tomorrow :)
