man i don't even know at this point what i have posted and what i haven't. let's start with the really exciting news- i finished my second-to-last semester today (at least at one school)!!! i handed in a final project and gave a presentation. can i just tell you what a relief the past 10 hours have been knowing that this semester is over. i have said this about a lot of semesters before but i truly mean it this time when i say that i have never wanted a semester to be more over than this one. i just got sick of all the tedious projects. in order to graduate with honors, i actually did a marketing research project for the library where i work and i really enjoyed doing it. that's what the presentation was for that i did today. yeah it was a relief to get it done, but it is kind of sad to me that it is done with. i put a lot of time and effort into the project and i have to say that i am very proud of myself and of how the report turned out.
anyways for the other exciting news- it's my bday tomorrow :) my bday always falls during exam week, but i am really excited cause i finished everything for school today, and i can actually do stuff that i want to do on my bday and not have to worry about doing projects or studying for tests. anyways, i am going out to dinner with my buddies from work. i know that we will have a fun time, cause of course we always do :) another one of my good friends may come so i am sure that it will be a night full of fun. probably gonna go out for a little while on saturday night as well. then sunday, celebrate my bday and mother's day with the family. since my bday is always the same week of mother's day we usually all get together on mother's day and celebrate both. i like having that little routine. i love getting together with the family. it is just so much fun! my two sisters have five kids all together ranging from almost 5 years old (omg- they grow up so fast!!!) all the way down to a little over 2 and a half months. i am so happy that we all live in the same area cause i would absolutely hate it if i missed out on all the bdays and the holidays and all the milestones in their lives- i mean that about the kids as well as my sisters. we have just always been very close growing up even though i am about 7 years younger than them. and the kids, they are just so much fun to be around- you just never know what they are gonna say or do and some of the things just make me love them more than i already do (if that is even possible!).
MOVIE UPDATE:
so anyways, next up- i went to see
VACANCY with
LUKE WILSON and
KATE BECKINSALE. scary as hell!!!!!!! i was so freakin creeped out by the movie. i was trying to find a picture of why it was so scary to me but i couldn't find what i was looking for. there were two thing actually. one, the bad guys in the movie wore like see-through masks, which you could still tell who was who but they totally distorted their faces. i hate masks so that totally creeped me out. then there is one see that there are a ton of mice, which i actually had a nightmare about last night. i couldn't even watch that part. then there is another part that kinda freaked me out too but i won't describe that cause i know that someone who reads my blog wants to see the movie so i don't want to talk about every little thing.
also i went to see
IN THE LAND OF WOMEN. it was an ok movie, but there wasn't any action or anything to it, just talk, talk, talk. i gotta admit though- it was hilarious!!! also,
ADAM BRODY isn't that bad to look at either. i have always heard about him, but never knew who he was. now i definitely do :) i just found some movies that he is in that i have seen and just never realized it was him- like
MR. AND MRS. SMITH. i can totally picture him in that movie now too- his character, what he looked like, everything. he didn't have that big of part in that movie so may be that is why i didn't notice, notice him in it.
here's a new dvd release and i bought it of course-
ALPHA DOG!!! i've written about this one before so i won't repeat everything... i will just leave you with this
link to my review of the movie and say that after i watched it today (my second time seeing it), i realized that it is one of those movies that everytime you watch it you know that it will have the same ending but you still hope that it doesn't turn out like it did the last time you watched it. it is a good story, but just sick. i just want to reiterate that
JUSTIN was awesome in this movie- hilarious!!! i just noticed when doing the link to justin on imdb that they really need to change his profile photo or whatever you call it. it is from way back in the day like when NSYNC'S NO STRINGS ATTACHED album was coming out. take it from me, that was a looooong time ago- i was just going into high school i remember, so ninth grade. i do have fun memories of me and jocelyn doing the BYE, BYE, BYE thing all the time :) jocelyn is the one that went to a justin concert earlier in the year and got
these really awesome pics from. so as you can see we were really into him then and still very into him now :) anyways, on my other post about ALPHA DOG, i had one movie picture, but here is what the dvd cover actually looks like:
i don't know if you can tell from this picture but the guy in the middle on the top is the same guy from justin's video for WHAT GOES AROUND COME AROUND- you know his best friend who totally screws him over. to compare i will provide you with the WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND video and the trailer for ALPHA DOG.
i also just recently saw
THE GIRL NEXT DOOR. i didn't see all of it but from what i did see it looked pretty weird. other than that i don't really have an opinion about that yet. maybe after i see it again i will, but i don't right now. btw, the kid in THE GIRL NEXT DOOR is the same guy who plays the main character JOHNNY TRUELOVE on ALPHA DOG. it is also crazy seeing him in these two very different roles.
anyways, i think that is all for movies. i do have to mention a little bit about ONE TREE HILL. it had gone away for a very long while, but it has been back on for the past two weeks and they have been very interesting. last night's episode was really funny and really cool. they did a contest for having the people of OTH come to their prom and so a bunch of fans from texas got to be in the episode and got to hang out with the cast and everything. that would be so cool. if i was still in high school i would have totally entered my school into the contest. i have a feeling that there only a couple or three episodes left in the season :( they just had prom and they keep talking about graduation so it is the season finale is coming up soon i think. i think there are quite a few OTH fans that would agree with me when i say that sucks!!!
one last thing before i end i want to mention one more exciting thing coming up. i am housesitting and dogsitting for my sister exactly a week from tomorrow. i am so excited. it is sometimes hard, especially in a different house but i love being on my own and having that independence. besides i love my sisters dog too. she is a big dog but she is also a big baby. i will have to come back to my house during the week so my own dog doesn't think i abandoned him. i hope to be able to take jake for a little car ride to the library next tuesday so my buddies from work can see him. i hope i get the chance but i'm not positive if i will do it yet. let's keep our fingers crossed :)
all right i really think that is enough for now. told you it's been a long time!! but , i gotta go to bed now. catch you guys later :)

Can I just say that I can't stand Adam Brody!!! He has a speech impediment that is so annoying!! I LOVED Mr. and Mrs. Smith but I was annoyed when I went to see it and he had that small part in it...I was happy tho when Mrs. Smith slams a phone upside his head to make him talk. That was THE BEST!!! It sort of reminded me of me and what I wish I could do to Adam Brody whenever I see him on TV.
Yeah, not a big fan of him... Sorry!
Ha! Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Mr and Mrs Smith or anything right? Hence my profile pic!!! :)
